Job Description
Insight Global's healthcare client is seeking a remote Epic Professional Billing Analyst to join their team. The Application Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting the design and build of the Epic application, including the workflows, system configurations, change documentation and support of operations for the application. This resource will be responsible for the installation, upgrades, configuration, and daily support of the PB application.
On a daily basis, the resource will handle coordination of end-user support activities, create test plans for the application, executes the test plans and version upgrades, and documents all test outcomes, including troubleshooting and support.
Required Skills & Experience
3+ Years of Epic Professional Billing Experience
Knowledge and work experience in revenue cycle management, optimization and hospital billing
Strong Knowledge of current professional billing workflows and processes
Demonstrated interest in supporting the development and build of the application
Strong Analytical skills
Experience handling the installation, configuration, optimization & breakfix of Epic Professional Billing
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Patient Estimates and/or insurance follow ups/Denials
