Job Description

Insight Global is looking for 2 Data Engineers to join a robust Consumer Data and Reporting team for a large telecom client. This has the ability to be a fully remote role, but ideally candidates will be local to a Hub location for any potential technical support. One candidate will be focused on a Customer Journey Portfolio, working with an exploratory approach, in which they will be helping the team define where the Customer Journey begins and ends related to different customer experience interactions; the end product here will be aligning to the 2-3 dozen journeys and mapping out the start and end events across the digital systems. The other candidate will be focused on a Troubleshooting Portfolio in which they will be aligning to this customer ecosystem to help identify data that tells the story of Customer Care calls and customer conditions based on the nature of their troubleshooting request; the end product for this candidate will be a formalized dashboard or table of all troubleshooting traffic data. In each role candidates will be their own stakeholder, working to move the development team along, collaborating with AI and D team to translate code into data and work with the business to interrogate the data. On a day to day basis each candidate will own their own their own portfolio of work and should be comfortable receiving program objectives and then working their day to day to execute on the project. Tasks will include building with SQL and digging through activity tables and cross reference tables to find the signals for journeys and events beginning and ending, working hands on to define data processes in GCP, using Teradata to scale out data within the data warehouse. Candidates should have good communication skills to work cross functionally, as well as be comfortable documenting processes in Google Docs.
