An employer is looking for a Data Architect to join their team remotely in india.
Responsibilities:
- Define and design future state data architecture for HR analytics and reporting
- Partner with Technology, Data Stewards, and Product teams in Agile workstreams
- Gather requirements and process improvements from business and operations teams
- Lead the design and build of new data models for financial reporting
- Evaluate and recommend data tools, technologies, and implementation patterns
- Collaborate with Enterprise Data Architects to align with enterprise standards
- Mentor Data Engineers and Analysts on architecture best practices
- Develop and maintain data processes, standards, policies, and governance
- Create and maintain conceptual and logical data models
- Work with business and IT teams to understand and translate data requirements
- Maintain a comprehensive data dictionary
- Review data models with both technical and business stakeholders
- Design and document data architecture processes and flows
- Resolve technical challenges in high-pressure situations
- Build relationships with external stakeholders to stay informed on data and security trends
- Review and provide feedback on technical work from peers
- Implement data security policies aligned with governance and regulatory requirements
Shift is 12-8 PM IST. Compensation: $20-30/HR

- 12+ years of IT experience focused on data warehouse and database projects
- Expertise in cloud databases such as Snowflake and Redshift
- Strong background in Data Warehousing Architecture, BI/Analytical systems, Data Cataloguing, and MDM
- Proficient in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling
- Skilled in documenting architecture work and maintaining data dictionaries
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT and analytics tools like AWS Glue, DBT/Talend, FiveTran, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting Compensation Benchmarking, Pay Transparency/Equity, and Total Rewards use cases
- Familiarity with cloud big data technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP
- Certification in Data Management or cloud platforms like Snowflake
