Sr. Data Analyst

Insight Global is looking for a Sr Data Analyst to join one of our hospitality clients sitting remotely in Las Vegas or Orlando! This person will be joining the credit analytics team and utilizing their sql, ssrs, and Bi tool experience and background to assist the team in managing their data. This team communicates with many other parts of the business and works in a fast paced environment. Our client is looking for a team player who can be an efficient self-starter and communicate their findings adequately.

Technical Skills in order of priority:

Advanced tsql with knowledge of plsql and other variants of sql

Advanced Excel skills

SSRS report development experience preferred

Familiarity with macros

Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Cognos, etc (when you know one, you can learn them all)

Data management, governance, and architecture basic knowledge a plus, not required (self-taught or school educated is fine, does not need to be an expert, does not need direct experience)

Other Skills:

Creative problem solving

Ability to translate between business language and technical language

Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and listening skills

Able to work under pressure with humor and a team attitude

Strong critical thinking
