Job Description
We are seeking a highly capable, energetic, and "can-do-it-all" Maintenance Technician to join our estate care team in Lake Tahoe. This role is perfect for a true handyman who is confident, versatile, and takes pride in keeping a property running smoothly. You will handle everything from basic household repairs to heavy lifting and seasonal outdoor care. A positive attitude is essential—no task should be considered too small, whether it is assembling furniture or breaking down cardboard boxes.
Key Responsibilities
General Home Repairs & Handyman Tasks: Fix broken garbage disposals, install doggy doors, change lightbulbs, replace water filters, install new water taps, and repair sprinklers.
Proactive & Property Maintenance: Routinely inspect the property to proactively schedule needed maintenance and ensure all systems are operating optimally.
Heavy Lifting & Manual Labor: Assist with moving heavy furniture, power washing decks, painting walls, and handling physical tasks around the estate.
Outdoor & Seasonal Care: Shovel snow during winter months, clean outside furniture, hang seasonal decorations/Christmas lights, and wash vehicles.
Estate Upkeep: Clean and organize the garage, break down cardboard boxes, and maintain general cleanliness across the property.
Smart Home Technology (Plus): Help monitor, troubleshoot, and check integrated smart home systems.
Safety & Specialty Tasks: Confidently navigate tight or high spaces, including climbing onto the roof, entering crawl spaces, and setting mouse traps when necessary.

Required Skills & Experience
Experience: Background in residential maintenance, construction, or a proven track record as a skilled handyman. (Construction management experience is not required).
Physical Capability: Must be highly capable of managing heavy lifting and strenuous physical work daily.
Technical Aptitude: Comfort with or knowledge of smart home technologies is a major plus for at least one of our open positions.
Mindset: An upbeat, outgoing personality with a strong work ethic and a "no task is beneath me" mentality.
