Job Description

The Billing Specialist will join a dedicated team of oncology billing professionals responsible for accurate and timely billing of oncology services. This role focuses on end-to-end billing support, including claim submission, payer follow-up, and issue resolution, while ensuring compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include reviewing and submitting oncology-related claims, identifying and correcting billing errors, working denials, collaborating with internal clinical and administrative teams, and supporting revenue cycle efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong oncology billing background, thrives in a collaborative team environment, and is comfortable managing complex oncology billing workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong background in Medical Oncology billing
• 3-5+ years of experience as a Medical Biller or Billing Specialist in a healthcare setting
• Oncology-specific billing experience including chemotherapy, infusion, radiation, and related services
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to resolve complex billing issues
• Excellent time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including payer and internal team communication

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with A/R follow-up, claims resolution, and collections
• Experience with medical oncology EMRs - Aria specifically
