Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Income Tax Contractor with deep expertise in accounting for income taxes under both IFRS and US GAAP (ASC 740). This role will support our global tax team and Americas tax team in delivering timely, accurate, and audit-ready tax provision work and technical documentation. The ideal candidate will bring Big 4 experience, strong proficiency in complex global income tax provisions, and a history of working with large multinational publicly traded companies.

This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of tax technical knowledge, strong writing skills, and cross-functional collaboration.

· Assist with the preparation and/or review the global income tax provision under IFRS and US GAAP.

· Draft and review financial statement disclosures, including income tax footnotes, ETR reconciliations, valuation allowance assessments, and deferred tax rollforwards

· Draft high-quality, audit-ready technical tax memos on complex income tax accounting positions, including M&A impacts, UTPs, and tax planning transactions

· Support tax provision implications of mergers and acquisitions, including tax basis studies, step-up analyses, and purchase accounting integration.

· Evaluate and quantify the impact of international tax matters on the consolidated income tax provision

· Assist with preparation of executive-level communications and presentations for the VP of Tax, Finance leadership, and external auditors

· Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, Treasury, and Controllership teams to align tax provision assumptions with broader financial forecasts

· Support the external audit process, including schedule preparation, responses to inquiries, and documentation of key judgments and estimate

Required Skills & Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters in Taxation preferred)

· CPA or Chartered Accountant designation required

· 1015 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on income tax provisions in multinational environments

· Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm and public multinational company strongly preferred

· Expert knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting for income tax standards and related disclosure requirements

· Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise technical tax memoranda and support financial reporting deliverables

· Strong understanding of international tax rules, including CFCs, Subpart F/GILTI, hybrid structures, and their impact on global provision

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues to non-tax stakeholders
