As a Director of Enterprise Accounts at Switch, you will be part of a world-class team that operates in excellence, delivering mission-critical solutions that redefine whats possible in AI, cloud and enterprise data center needs. In this role you are responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and engaging new client prospects, growing and protecting existing enterprise client revenues and relationships, and collaborating across Switch teams to achieve or exceed sales targets. This position is a client advocate and has responsibility for fostering broad and deep relationships with assigned Switch clients through programmed communications and business reviews.
Identify, qualify, and effectively manage potential sales leads and opportunities through the sales pipeline.
Cultivate strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
Schedule and manage business reviews, bringing in other Switch divisions as needed (influence account plan execution and update key data into Salesforce account page.)
Seek to deeply understands clients IT initiatives and priorities; document under account insights, along with other initiatives such as cloud/hybrid/on-prem/COLO strategies and/or DC planned exits, migrations, or consolidations. Then develop and execute strategies to handle appropriately.
Thoughtfully navigate client topography to ensure long term relationship success.
Engage in proactive client communication in regular cadence to communicate Switch news and/or initiatives.
Identify new opportunities for additional product sales, expansion opportunities, and manage opportunity lifecycles end to end. Engage with peer sales teams to create and support value add opportunities for named clients.
Serve as an escalation point for any issues that impact the Clients experience and act as an advocate for resolution, leveraging resources across the company as necessary.
Uses Salesforce to document relationship, activities, insights, customer DC strategies and key initiatives.
Interact with clients in a manner that reflects the positive, professional image of Switch.
Collaborate with capacity planning, power, finance, and construction to ensure facility financials are met for enterpriser opportunities.
Lead strategic and technically informed data center tours, tailored to advanced, solution-driven audience.
Stay current with industry and marketplace to fully understand the impact of emerging trends and technologies on Clients business.
Manage personal social media in a manner that reflects a positive and professional image.
Support sales leadership in various meetings as requested.
Contribute across the sales team to evolve complicated deal strategies.
Possible travel up to 30% of the time, as needed
Required to intermittently work weekends and/or off-hours to support tour schedules
