Job Description

A customer of Insight Global is looking for a Service Technician to support their customer base on site in the Reno, NV area. These individuals will be responsible for working with the existing customer base in the local area to service security systems at various locations in the local territory. They will utilize their customer service skills to work directly with the troubling shooting of current systems and getting them cell phone access to the company application for their security system. This individual must be comfortable using their personal vehicle to go to and from the customer sites to the shop location and will have onsite training at the start of their employment.

Required Skills & Experience

High School Diploma
Valid Driver's License
Reliable vehicle transportation
Familiar with power and hand tools (i.e Screwdrivers, Wire Cutters, and Drills)
Basic understanding of networks and internet (i.e how routers, modems, and mesh points interact and what they are, what is a causes internet lags, etc)
Comfortable working with smart devices and applications
Excellent customer service skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience installing, servicing, or inspecting security systems
Technical training
Wiring Experience
Sales Experience
