Floral Designer

Insight Global is looking for six Floral Design Assistants to join our large Casino Gaming clients floral design team on-site in Las Vegas, NV. As a Floral Design Assistant, you will process floral deliveries, prepare containers and props, and collaborate with designers to create floral pieces. Throughout the day, youll manage inventory using the Event Image site, assist in event production, and participate in set-up and tear down tasks. Youll also work with crews for installations, completing necessary paperwork, and stay updated on design trends and techniques. These tasks will include helping to pack and transport floral arrangements to various casinos/hotels for events on time for set up. You must also be comfortable with working some early mornings, weekends, and holidays in order to deliver for high-priority client events. Your role includes maintaining an organized workspace and performing additional tasks as requested

1+ year(s) of experience working in floral design
Knowledgeable in floral processing, product, design, and mechanics
Must be able to present a design portfolio of past design work.
Must be able to complete a design test within a specific time frame.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be comfortable with working varied shifts, including some weekends and holiday.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to lift to 50 lbs., push and pull carts up to 300 lbs.

Degree or certification in Floral Design or related field
