As the Director of Logistics, you will oversee and manage the entire logistics function, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations. You will lead the logistics team, developing and implementing strategies that align with the companys objectives. Your role will involve coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods and services. You will analyze and optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Budget management will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures. Additionally, you will track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of logistics operations and identify areas for improvement. Utilizing logistics software and ERP systems, you will streamline operations and improve data accuracy. Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and developing mitigation strategies will be crucial to minimizing disruptions. Finally, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes and support the companys growth.
