Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Casino Operations Trainer to join our casino gaming client's team, specifically focused in Marketing Promotions and analytics tools. This role is pivotal in ensuring their clients operational needs are met through effective training and support. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of casino operations, including cage, slot operations, and the software that supports these niche areas. As a Casino Operations Trainer, you will complete tasks such as conducting interview meetings with clients to understand their operational needs and design customized training curriculums. You will validate system deployments in customer labs, troubleshoot issues with software engineers, and provide ongoing support, including quality assurance tasks. You will also assist in teaching customers how to create custom solutions for BI tools and tableau using our client's casino management system. Staying updated on best practices in the casino industry and applying this knowledge to training and support activities will be crucial. Additionally, you will travel to client sites as needed, typically from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend support for go-live events.

Required Skills & Experience

In-depth understanding of casino industry operations, particularly in cage, slot operations, marketing, accounting, and table games.
Past experience working with Casino Marketing teams, preferably marketing promotions
Experience creating custom dashboards in Tableau and Power BI (or custom BI tools)
Experience in training and communication, with a proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint and Excel.
Experience providing go-live support.
Familiarity with software systems that support casino operations.
Knowledge of best practices in the casino industry and the ability to configure systems accordingly.
Ability to quickly come up to speed with new systems and processes.
Experience working closely with software engineers or technical support specialists.
Awareness that the role involves a mix of training (1/3), application support (1/3), and quality assurance (1/3).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in interviewing clients and stakeholders to gather operational requirements.
Technical and quality assurance skills to ensure systems are set up and functioning correctly.
