Job Description

The Director of TechOps & Security is responsible for delivering business critical information technology (IT) infrastructure and security

solutions/services across the organization. This position will recommend, establish, implement, and control best practices for IT

infrastructure and security. This position works closely with IT and other departments to understand, define, prioritize, and deliver

against current and future business needs and compliance requirements. This role will report into our Chief Technology Officer and can

be worked remotely with periodic travel.



* Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and guidance to the infrastructure team, promoting a collaborative and high-performing

culture. Foster professional growth and development within the team. Provide leadership and advice to all teams on aspects of

information security and compliance.

* Build and manage team comprised of world-class talent. Responsible for hiring, motivating, evaluating, developing personnel.

* Foster strong cross-functional collaboration between infrastructure, security, and other teams involved in the organization's

operations. Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing to drive alignment and achieve shared goals.

* Manage delivery of infrastructure services and information security operations, policies, architecture, and governance in

support of business operations

* Creating and executing long-term infrastructure and security roadmaps to advance maturation of these functions. Review and

recommend technical standards.

* Measure the performance of work across the support team and report metrics and key issues on a regular basis.

* Manage vendor contracts for all hardware and software within the company infrastructure.

* Ensure compliance through adequate training programs and oversight of periodic internal security audits.

* Responsible for directly managing several 3rd party infrastructure and security service providers.

* Protect unauthorized use and access to corporate and personal data; enforce adherence to compliance standards (NIST,

HIPAA, SOC2)

* Lead incident response team to contain, investigate, remediate, and prevent cybersecurity incidents.

* Create enterprise-wide security awareness and security training to educate our workforce against potential security threats.

* Determine annual vulnerability assessments, selection of testing vendor(s), and remediation of vulnerabilities.

* Responsible for maintaining and testing disaster recovery and business continuity readiness.

* Lead and enhance change management process

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering or comparable experience required

* 5+ years' experience in management of Infrastructure and Security, with a track record of successfully implementing

infrastructure and security practices and driving organizational change.

* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.

* Strong knowledge of infrastructure and security methodologies, tools, and best practices, including cloud platforms (such as

AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), risk management, and compliance.

* Proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer and network threats and exploits
