Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Lead Database Architect to join our gaming client's team on-site in Las Vegas, Nevada! They will lead and manage database development and ensure the quality and efficiency of the database systems and solutions for Casino Management System and related systems. They must be able to collaborate with software engineers, business analysts, product managers, and quality assurance to understand the business requirements and translate them into optimal database designs and solutions. They will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to the database development team. They should research, evaluate, and recommend new database technologies and best practices to improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of the database systems. They will also ensure the compliance of the database systems with the gaming industry standards and regulations. This position requires creativity, problem-solving, and leadership skills. This position will have the ability to work on challenging and innovative projects that impact the gaming industry. Required Skills & Experience

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

· 10+ years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming, design, and architecture.

· Experience with Real Time Systems, Large Data Sets, and complex data models and pipelines.

· Experience with cloud-based database services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

· Proven leadership capabilities and skills.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to obtain and maintain Gaming licensure(s).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Gaming industry or Casino Management Systems experience.

· Experience with data governance, quality, and security best practices.

· Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.

· Experience with ETL and data analysis tools such as Informatica, Talend, Python, R, or SAS.

Certifications in Oracle, AWS, or other relevant technologies.
