Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an IT Support Technician to join the team of a solutions provider in Las Vegas, NV. The IT Support Technician is a customer service focused role and technical specialist in Windows, Microsoft 365 and other application support. General IT principles, concepts, practices, and support areas which may include account management, client health, security, hardware, specialty hardware, and basic networking are the core requirements for this role. The position is responsible for maintaining and managing a secure and efficient computing environment for on-site, remote, and hybrid users and assisting them in managing their environments. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, has a desire to expand their skill set and be a dedicated member of our team.
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years' experience in IT Support
Experience managing tickets (40-60/week)
Networking background (WiFi, TCP/IP, LAN, Ethernet, etc.)
Experience supporting a Windows/Microsoft environment.
Experience with DNS, DHCP, CPN, SFTP, remote connectivity and other network protocols.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Hyper-V/VMware concepts and implementation
Experience with VoIP phone systems (cloud hosted)
