Technical Writer

Insight Global is currently looking for a Technical Writer to support one of our hospitality clients! This contract resource will work collaboratively with designers and developers on digital gaming products, creating and updating documentation for internal teams, customers, and business partners. The ideal candidate will have technical writing experience previously within a gaming company who has structured authoring experience. This resource will be working closely with internal teams and external business partners for all projects. They will ideally have worked within CCMS systems and softwares such as Paligo, but also open to other softwares such as Document360 or Herretto.

* Must be 21 years old

* Technical writing certificate or equivalent education/work experience

* Experience with structured authoring, DITA, and component content management systems (CCMS) software such as Paligo

* Professional-level experience with Microsoft Office applications

* Well-versed communication skills to develop crucial partnerships and share expectations with subject matter experts

* Proven work experience driving key documentation projects and enforcing best practices

* Highly organized; able to prioritize and report on multiple projects simultaneously

* Previous gaming experience

* Experience working in agile SDLC environment

* Experience writing and editing content for engineering, design, or compliance SMEs

* Experience working in startup environments with rapidly evolving requirements
