Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a GCP Data Engineer to join our healthcare client sitting fully remote. Our clients are developing a technology-enabled, integrated system tailored to optimize value-based arrangements for payors and providers serving Medicare and Medicaid enrollees. This person will spend most of their time building high-performance data processing systems as well as maintaining current systems. They will be working with large amounts of batch and streaming data. The Data Engineer will lead all data engineering projects to ensure pipelines are reliable, efficient, testable and maintainable. They will be responsible for leading a small group of engineers. This person will work closely with the CTO and other key stakeholders so strong communication is important.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
- Expert level knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) products
- 5+ years of Python and SQL
- Experience with big data technology: AirFlow, Apache Beam, Spark, BigQuery
- Strong understanding of open-source technology
