Job Description
A quickly growing and innovative financial services organization is looking for a Remote Security Ops Developer to assist with mobbing and pairing to design, code, test, debug, deploy and document software in an agile environment. This individual will be responsible for working with team members, supporting agile engineering practices such as delivering small narrow slices of functionality, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, and Infrastructure as Code. They will be working with UX/UI Designers, DevSecOps Engineers, Full Stack Software Engineers, Data Engineers and Data Analysts to modernize a 50 year old legacy system.
Required Skills & Experience
* 5+ years combined Application Development/DevSecOps/Infrastructure Automation experience
* A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
* Strong engineering experience in DevOps, Continuous Delivery & automation using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Packer, CloudBees Jenkins, Nexus
* Engineering experience with security, monitoring and analysis tools such as Splunk, SonarQube, NewRelic, Nessus, etc
* Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS or Azure experience in some of the following is required: Cloud Compute, Cloud Storage, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Database Management, and Key Management
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Experience with Google Cloud
* Experience with GitHub Actions, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar configuration management software
* Experience in automating Cloud Platform infrastructure (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
