Job Title: Production Specifications Coordinator (Finished Goods)
Location: Omaha, NE or Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 60–90 Day Contract
Pay: $24–$26/hr

Position Overview
Insight Global is seeking a Production Specifications Coordinator to support the Quality function for a leading beauty/CPG manufacturer. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring all finished goods specifications are accurate, complete, and aligned with regulatory and customer requirements. This is a fast-paced, high-impact contract role supporting active product development and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and update finished goods specifications including:

Formulas
Packaging
Labeling
Assembly requirements


Manage approximately 25 specifications per week with strong attention to detail
Ensure accuracy, version control, and documentation approvals
Collaborate with:

Project Management
Quality Assurance
Manufacturing
Packaging teams


Review packaging, artwork, and BOMs for consistency and compliance
Support new product launches by completing documentation ahead of timelines
Maintain specification databases and assist with change management processes
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards

Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications

2–5 years of experience with production specifications or technical documentation in a CPG environment
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Background in product development, quality assurance, or manufacturing

(1+ year with relevant degree acceptable)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in CPG, beauty, personal care, or OTC industries
Familiarity with:

Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Packaging specifications
PLM systems
Quality management systems


Exposure to change control processes and supplier coordination
