Job Description
IT Business Analyst driving digital transformation across telecom products by simplifying and redesigning business processes. This role partners closely with business, IT, and leadership teams to translate current-state workflows into streamlined solutions within Salesforce Communications Cloud, integrating with billing, inventory, HR, and provisioning systems. Focus is on improving customer experience, enabling automation, and ensuring successful delivery of scalable, end-to-end processes.
Core Responsibilities
• Analyze and document current-state telecom workflows (order management, provisioning, customer lifecycle)
• Design and implement optimized future-state processes within Salesforce Communications Cloud
• Gather, prioritize, and translate business requirements into functional designs for development teams
• Partner cross-functionally (business, IT, field teams, leadership) to drive alignment and delivery
• Support solution design, development, testing (UAT), and implementation
• Track project milestones and partner with PMs to ensure on-time, on-budget execution
• Define and measure KPIs to assess process improvements and business impact
• Drive automation and continuous improvement using structured methodologies (e.g., DMAIC / Six Sigma)
Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and enterprise architecture standards
Remote, but must be in the following states for eligibility for

$42-$47/hr

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in IT or digital transformation
- Strong telecom domain knowledge (order management, provisioning, BSS/OSS, product lifecycle)
- Experience analyzing, documenting, and redesigning business processes
- Salesforce experience (Communications Cloud strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally across business, technical, and leadership stakeholders
- Experience gathering requirements and supporting end-to-end solution delivery
- Strong communication skills (written + verbal) and stakeholder management
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Salesforce Communications Cloud hands-on experience
• Telecom experience across pre-sales, service management, or customer lifecycle
• Six Sigma certification or process improvement background
• Experience with billing, inventory, HR, or provisioning system integrations
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Exposure to customer portal or e-commerce platforms
• Vendor or third-party management experience
Strong data analysis / database knowledge
