Our Fortune 500 financial client's Test Environment Management team is looking for an experienced test environment management resource to manage and maintain the mainframe and distributed lower environments.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams to setup and maintain the lower environments
- Ensure the lower environments are available, stable and configured to meet the requirements of ongoing testing efforts
- Analyze lower environment issues and work with infrastructure and applications team to address performance or reoccurring issues
- Communicate environment availability and changes to the lower environment user base
- Work closely with QA, development and infrastructure teams to align environment configurations with project needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the lower environments (ex system failures, environment configurations, data issues)
- Implement best practices for developer community to adopt when using the lower environments

BA/BS degree and/or 8+ years of experience working with lower environments (primarily on the mainframe side)
Strong knowledge of mainframe technologies (IBM z/OS, CICS, DB2, COBOL, MQs)
Experience using logging Tools (Splunk), Enterprise Monitoring tools (ThousandEyes) and Synthetic Monitoring tools for testing environments
Located in Omaha, NE, Southlake, TX or Denver, CO and open to going onsite 3+ days/week
Cultural: people person, isn't afraid to speak up or lead the charge
Self starter, self motivated, can work independently
Compensation:
$45/hr to $50/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
