Insight Global is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer for a large financial services company in Omaha, NE. This Engineer will be joining the government solutions organization responsible for electronic tax payment systems. On a day-to-day basis, this engineer will be testing on mainframe midrange and API applications. Daily responsibilities include executing tests for system components including functional and integration testing, accessibility testing, and perform testing activities including planning design, scripting, execution, debugging and reporting. This position is 5 days per week onsite and offers the opportunity for upward mobility. The estimated pay range for this position is between 45-50/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. - 5 years of experience testing on mainframe midrange and API applications
- Experience using SQL or test data creation and verification
- Experience with writing test cases/scripts
- Familiarity with both manual and automation testing
- Experience with test case development and execution tools, such as, Jira test management or Azure DevOps
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
