A client of Insight Global is seeking to add several Fire Sprinkler Designers to its growing team in the Omaha Nebraska area! The Fire Sprinkler Designer will be part of acollaborative team of designers that prepare submittal and field installation drawings, hydraulic calculations, and submittal data for fire protection systems based on the requirements set by NFPA code standards, the International Building Code (IBC), and the Local Authority or fire marshal. These individuals will be expected to become proficient at designing fire suppression systems, and detailing shop drawings including field installation drawings & hydraulic calculations. They will also oversee jobsite support & field installation support. They will manage project scheduling and are expected to keep projects on schedule. They will participate in a 2-3 month training course that involves several weeks in the field with installers, as well as a 2 week design course to learn AutoSPRINK and work on a sample project in the office.
(Pay Rate: $24-$28/hr)

Design or drafting experience relating to construction, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.
Experience with a CAD software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo (2D or 3D experience), Revit, Navisworks
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Engineering Technology, CAD, Drafting or Design, or related.
AutoSPRINK or HydroCAD experience
NICET certification
Prior water-based systems design experience
