Insight Global is looking for a Materials Engineering Technician for a national engineering consulting firm in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will perform regular testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials (e.g. soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel). They will communicate about the construction site and project requirements with the PM, other engineering technicians, and the client. They will do field and lab work, test soils, and occasionally work with concrete. They will transport materials samples with associated identifying documentation to the laboratory for further testing and analysis. The candidate will need to have excellent written and oral communication as they will be preparing digital reports. A valid drivers license is required as they will be driving a company vehicle. This candidate will be paid between $21-$25/hr depending on years of experience.
