An insurance client is focusing on a large Medicare Advantage implementation and is working to ramp up a team of Project & Program Managers. This is the organizations largest initiative through 2024. The implementation must be completed by October 2024, and will be opening up a new service offering for the client. The client works in a loose agile environment, so they are not seeking a box checker, but rather a forward thinker with the motivation to move a project to the next step, and should also be comfortable working in a waterfall environment. This individual will own their own workstream and focus on the set up of Guiding Care, a care management platform. They will also oversee all risk adjustment integrations as well as all Quality Stars activities but act as a project manager for these priorities. They will have the responsibility of setting milestones within guidelines for the assigned workstream, drive the project and report on the progress to the PMO.
Sr. Project or Program Manager who is PMP/PMI/CSM certified
Either of the following backgrounds:
Prior experience installing Guiding Care for Medicare Advantage
Knowledge of CMS regulations
Prior experience as an RN who has moved into insurance role, and have worked on a Medicare Advantage product using the Guiding Care software for utilization & care management
Familiar with risk adjustment practices but does not need hands on experience
Knowledge of Quality Star Ratings
Great communication and soft skills
Forward thinking mindset & Milestone driven
Experience working on a MA and guiding care implementation previously
