Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Software Engineer to joint a client's team in Omaha, Nebraska. This position will act as software engineer on a scrum team of about ten engineers that are working on an advanced system for the Air Force.

Required Skills & Experience

Able to work 100% on site

Active Secret Clearance

2+ years of experience with C++ and/or Java development

Experience with JavaScript and JS frameworks such as React

Proficiency with basic web technologies including HTML, CSS, XML, SOAP, WSDL, REST, JSON, and JavaScript

Strong, self-motivated desire to learn new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and technique

BS degree in a technical discipline

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with the use of the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) for conventional aircraft mission planning

Experience with USSTRATCOM ISPAN domain

Experience with the use of the Air Vehicle Planning System (APS) for mission planning

Active DoD TS security clearance or greater

DOD 8570 IAT level 2 baseline certification
