Job Description
We are seeking a Release Manager to support the delivery of core products and services, ensuring software releases are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with change management standards. This role partners closely with Engineering, SRE, Product, Security, and Operations teams to coordinate release planning, deployment activities, risk management, and stakeholder communications across multiple environments.
What You'll Do
-Manage end-to-end release activities, including planning, scheduling, readiness reviews, deployment execution, and post-release validation.
-Coordinate release calendars and oversee weekly patches, hotfixes, and production deployments.
-Facilitate Go/No-Go decisions by assessing release readiness, risks, approvals, and test results.
-Create and maintain release authorizations, change records, and audit-compliant documentation.
-Partner with Engineering, SRE, and Operations teams to monitor deployments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful rollout execution.
-Enforce change management processes, deployment policies, and release governance standards.
-Communicate release status, risks, blockers, and impacts to technical and business stakeholders.
-Support release-related incident investigations, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience
-3+ years of experience in Release Management, Program/Project Management, DevOps, SRE, or Technical Operations.
-Hands-on experience with Jira and release/change tracking workflows.
-Familiarity with CI/CD and deployment platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GoCD, or similar tools.
-Strong understanding of SDLC, change management, CAB processes, rollback planning, and audit controls.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Experience supporting releases for large-scale SaaS or distributed cloud platforms.
-Exposure to observability tools such as Grafana, Kusto, or similar monitoring solutions.
-Experience improving release processes through automation, dashboards, and operational metrics.
-Understanding of database deployment considerations and collaboration with DBA teams.
