Job Description
A client in St. Louis is looking for a Systems Engineer to add to the team. This person performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in FAA certification, Military Handbook 516C (MIL-HDBK-516C), or EMAR21J airworthiness.
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 5+ years of experience in engineering specifically in mechanics or aerospace
- Experience with aerodynamics, and flight loads
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- An active U.S. Secret or active Top Secret Security Clearance
- Military correspondence experience
- Technical Experience in Flight & Ground Loads, Noise & Vibration, Flutter, Strength, Fatigue, Propulsion, Aerodynamics/Performance, Flying Qualities, Stability & Control, and/or Structural Dynamics strongly preferred.
