Software Product Owner (Navy)

An employer is looking to add a Software Product Owner to their team. This person can sit 100% remote. They will be responsible for developing and prioritizing the software product backlog. They will lead agile sprint planning activities, and establish and maintain software product roadmaps. They will serve as the spokesperson for software efforts at customer meetings and design reviews and perform project management activities to achieve desired schedule and technical performance. This role will allow the opportunity to work directly with Navy customers.

5 or more years of experience in Agile software development methodologies

5 or more years of experience working in a team environment

Experience working for the government or in the federal/defense industry, ideally previous Boeing experience or supporting Navy programs

Experience as a Software Product Owner

Experience working with JIRA

Bachelors Degree

Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
