Assistant Construction Manager

Insight Global is seeking both an Assistant Construction Manager to support a growing Transmission & Distribution organization focused on delivering utility infrastructure projects throughout the Midwest. These individuals will play a critical role in managing engineering and construction efforts for transmission, distribution, and utility-related projects. The ideal candidates will bring strong experience in project controls, scheduling, cost management, client interaction, and team coordination. This opportunity offers hands-on exposure to both office and field environments while supporting major utility clients and helping expand a rapidly growing T&D project portfolio (working currently with Ameren, AEP, AES, and First Energy). Responsibilities include:
• Coordinate construction project activities
• Support scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking efforts
• Maintain project documentation and controls
• Assist project leadership with field execution
• Interface with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders
• Conduct site visits and monitor construction progress
Identify project risks and communicate updates to leadership

• Engineering or Construction Management degree highly preferred, can take someone with applicable YOE
• 3+ YOE in construction project management or project engineering
Ideal experience coming within T&D since that is a majority of the work for this program, but willing to look at other industries
