Secret Personnel Security Assistant

Insight Global is looking to hire Personnel Security Assistant for one of our government contracting clients. This role supports personnel security and suitability operations by reviewing Public Trust and National Security investigation requests for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with federal requirements. The individual provides guidance to employees, contractors, and stakeholders on personnel security processes, investigations, and adjudicative standards while delivering professional customer service. Responsibilities include applying CFR and OPM suitability criteria to evaluate investigative information and recommend suitability determinations. The role also maintains personnel security databases, conducts quality assurance reviews, identifies discrepancies, and reports exceptions to leadership. Additional duties include researching and interpreting federal regulations, developing and updating policies, procedures, desk guides, and training materials, and delivering personnel security training to staff. The position supports special projects, prepares reports and presentations, attends internal and external meetings, and contributes to the continuous improvement of personnel security programs.

This role is a permanent hire opportunity with the pay being 50-55k/yr. This role requires this person to be on-site at an end customer site 5 days a week in St. Louis, MO. Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k matching and other benefits are offered for this full time position.

- Active Secret Clearance
At least 1 year of experience supporting personnel security adjudication activities
Experience working with the following systems:
OPM NP2 Secure Portal, DISS, Personnel Investigations Processing System/Central Verification Systems (PIPS/CVS), Electronic Questionnaire for Investigations (e-QIP), Personnel Security Tracking Systems, and Crossmatch Fingerprint Application.
Experience training in Personnel Security Systems, (e.g., eQIP, DISS, CVS, or comparable)
Proficiency in assisting in drafting Personnel Suitability procedures
Experience with HSPD12 badging
Bachelor's or Associates Degree required
