Job Description

Insight Global is supporting a client in their search for a Patient Service Representative to join their growing team in Springfield, MO. They recently acquired Children's Medical Services and is expanding operations throughout the Missouri market. This individual will serve as a primary point of contact for patients, families, and referral sources while ensuring patients receive the medical supplies and services they need.

Responsibilities include:
• Answering inbound patient and referral calls
• Making outbound follow-up calls to patients and guardians regarding supply needs and order status
• Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits coverage
• Processing patient orders, intake documentation, consent forms, and order tickets
• Accurately documenting patient interactions and maintaining detailed records within the system
• Tracking shipments, resolving patient concerns, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely service
• Conducting routine follow-up outreach to confirm patient satisfaction and ongoing supply needs
• Working closely with providers, clinics, case managers, insurance companies, and patient families
• Maintaining HIPAA compliance and ensuring a high level of customer service during every interaction

Required Skills & Experience

• DME (Durable Medical Equipment) industry experience
• Brightree experience
• Experience working with:
○ Patients and patient families
○ Insurance verification and coordination
○ Referral sources, clinics, and physician offices
○ Medicaid and commercial insurance plans
• Ideally 2+ years of relevant experience, but strong candidates with 1+ year of substantial DME experience will be considered.
• HIPAA knowledge and healthcare documentation experience
