Job Description
Insight Global is looking to add a SEM Account Manager to join their client’s Search Engine Marketing (SEM) team. This person will be responsible for the development, execution, optimization, and reporting of paid search campaigns across platforms including Google Ads (Search and Performance Max), Microsoft Ads, TikTok Ads, and emerging AI search channels such as ChatGPT Search.
They will create, launch, manage, and optimize paid search campaigns, ensuring performance aligns with client goals, budgets, and key performance indicators. They will be responsible for monitoring campaign pacing, conducting keyword research, developing strategic keyword lists, writing and testing ad copy, tracking and analyzing performance metrics such as CPA, ROAS, CTR, and conversion rates, and identifying opportunities to improve return on investment. This individual will also prepare and present both internal and client-facing performance reports, provide data-driven recommendations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and will be expected to stay informed on industry trends, platform updates, and digital marketing best practices. The role requires participation in ongoing training and team discussions to continuously enhance knowledge and performance.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree
- 1–3 years of experience managing paid search or digital advertising campaigns
- Experience with Google Ads and Microsoft Bing - setting up campaigns, doing conversions, writing ad copies, creating key word lists, optimizing, reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s in journalism or business
- Background knowledge of the digital media landscape and terminology
- Familiarity with platforms such as SEMRush
- Familiarity with pixel creation and tracking conversions
- Google Ads Certified
- Financial, data entry, or media budgeting experience
