Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Engineer to support a growing engineering team in St. Louis. This individual will work closely with Project Managers to support project execution across civil and structural projects, including roadway, bridge, and large-scale development work. The ideal candidate has strong technical experience, can manage scopes, schedules, and budgets, and is comfortable working cross-functionally throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
Support Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and execution of engineering projects
Develop and review project scopes, budgets, and schedules to ensure alignment with requirements
Review project documents for quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards
Assist in proposal development and technical documentation for new projects
Lead or support project meetings and communicate updates with clients and stakeholders
Ensure projects meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements
Support both civil and structural project work (roads, bridges, utilities, and developments)

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET accredited)
4+ years of relevant engineering experience (or equivalent at Staff Engineer level)
Experience supporting project scope, schedule, and budget management
Strong understanding of civil or structural engineering principles
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, or similar tools

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Professional Engineer (PE) license or actively working toward licensure (EIT candidates encouraged)
Experience with roadway, bridge, utility, or large-scale development projects
Experience leading meetings or presenting to clients
