Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented entry-level Biologist to join its Controlled Environment team. The ideal candidate will work hands-on in greenhouse environments, supporting critical agricultural research and development efforts. Daily responsibilities include harvesting corn plants, picking cotton bolls, operating seed processing equipment, and performing repetitive tasks with a high level of precision and consistency. This individual will collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth operations and accurate data collection, directly contributing to the success of crop science initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong agricultural background and be comfortable working in hot, physically demanding environments. This individual is a self-starter with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Prior fieldwork experience is highly valued, and an associate or bachelor’s degree in agriculture, plant science, or a related field is preferred. Candidates who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented setting and are passionate about advancing agricultural innovation are encouraged to apply.
