Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on electronics technician to support our Chesterfield, MO lab —
carrying out assembly, repair, and bring-up of custom embedded hardware units. Engineers will be
assisting remotely to provide step-by-step guidance throughout. Candidate does not need prior
knowledge of our systems, but you must be comfortable with electronics and precise under
instruction.
Day-to-Day:
-Assemble embedded hardware units from kits (mount boards, wire components, connect sensors)
-Inspect and repair PCB assemblies (identify faults, damaged components, incorrect connections)
-Work with Raspberry Pi units (handling, setup, SD cards, replacements)
-Build and crimp connector harnesses; wire 12V/5V power distribution systems
-Troubleshoot systems and sensors; log work and communicate updates/issues to engineers

Required Skills & Experience
-Hands-on experience with low-voltage electronics - PCBs, connectors, wiring
-Experience with crimp connectors, cable harness assembly, and multi-board interconnects
-Experience working with Raspberry Pi units (handling, setup, board replacement, SD cards)
-Understanding of electrical safety when working with power components
-Ability to follow detailed remote technical instructions and read wiring diagrams/document work
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-CCTV / physical security systems experience
-Experience with IP networking fundamentals
