Job Description
A leading EPC firm in Kansas City is looking to grow their electrical design team. This individual will play a critical role in developing high-quality electrical engineering and construction documents for complex, mission-critical projects such as airports, federal buildings, and secure facilities. Responsibilities will include:
• Develop and revise electrical construction documents using Revit
• Support electrical engineers on aviation and federal facility projects
• Prepare drawing packages including:
• Floor plans, panel schedules, one-line diagrams
• Equipment layouts, grounding and lighting systems
• Conduit and feeder routing
• Low voltage and power systems
• Incorporate redlines and quality-control comments efficiently
• Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, structural, civil) to ensure drawing consistency
• Maintain drawing organization and adherence to Burns & McDonnell CAD standards
• Assist with document control and milestone submittals

Required Skills & Experience
• Design/drafting degree
2+ years of design experience working with Revit
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Previous electrical design/drafting experience
Previous facilities design experience in federal sector
