Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking an Advanced Construction Planner (ACP) to serve as a key liaison between field operations and the Virtual Construction (VC) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating information flow, validating and tracking submittals, and ensuring all required data is complete and current so the VC team can move quickly and efficiently. This role proactively drives inputs, aligns VC priorities with field schedules, and removes bottlenecks—allowing project managers to remain focused on execution rather than day‑to‑day coordination.
The ideal candidate will bring a project‑focused mindset similar to a Project Engineer or Project Manager, with strong ownership of schedules, communication, and data accuracy. Candidates should come from a PM, Project Coordinator, or engineering background with solid construction experience and mechanical understanding. PMP experience is required, along with proficiency in tools such as Procore and construction documentation platforms. While deep VC expertise is not required, working knowledge of BIM or VC workflows, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage project data in a fast‑paced environment are essential.

Required Skills & Experience
Prior PMP experience
3+ years of experience in mechanical, piping, plumbing, or construction projects
Need to be familiar with BIM or similar VC software
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Prior experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager
