Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a highly experienced Network Engineer to work onsite 5 days a week for one of our client's in the Kansas City area. This person will be responsible for helping to design, implement, and maintain the network's infrastructure across various environments. The main environments that this person will be supporting include the cloud, on prem environments, as well as data centers. This person will help to create new network diagrams, standards, and provide technical documentation when doing so. This role will also involve troubleshooting of network issues and will be providing tier 2 and 3 support. This person should be up to all security and compliances standards and best practices, able to work with the security team on vulnerability and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience as a network engineer
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and understands policy configuration, security profiles, VPN's, etc
• Experience with both Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches
• Understands the design, deployment, and monitoring aspects of Meraki Wireless
• Experienced with networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, DNS, and DHCP)
• Able to troubleshoot layers 2-7 network issues
• Cloud networking experience with Azure
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• SD-WAN experience
• Certifications: CCNA CCNP, PCNSE, or other
• Python, PowerShell, or Ansible scripting experience
