Job Description

The Structural Designer will support multi discipline engineering teams by developing high quality structural models and drawings for industrial and manufacturing facilities. This role focuses on steel, concrete, and foundation systems and requires strong technical proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. The designer will contribute to projects from early concept through construction, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Design & Drafting
• Develop detailed structural design models and drawings in Revit and AutoCAD for steel, concrete, and foundation systems.
• Produce layout drawings, equipment foundation plans, building structure details, and general arrangement drawings.
• Apply strong rebar detailing and concrete design knowledge to create accurate and buildable designs.
• Update drawings based on engineering markups, redlines, and field revisions.
Project & Team Support
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers to prepare complete design packages for industrial and manufacturing projects.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines to ensure integrated and conflict free designs.
• Assist with site layout and structural support requirements for equipment and building systems.
Quality & Compliance
• Ensure all design work aligns with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and quality checks to maintain accuracy and consistency across deliverables.
• Incorporate field data, site conditions, and construction feedback into updated design documents.

Required Skills & Experience

- 1-15+ years of experience doing Structural Design for steel, concrete, and foundation systems
o Preferably in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments
- Strong AutoCAD and/or Revit design
- Knowledge of steel/concrete design standards and detailing practices
