Job Description
An employer of Insight Global is looking to add an Instrumentation Electrical Technician to their team in the Berkely, MO area. This person will be doing the hands-on fabrication, assembly, installation, setup, and testing of electrical and instrumentation systems. These technicians will install, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation ranging from sensors (including strain gages used to measure vibration, force, and stress) through data recorders, pulls and routes data to downstream systems or teams. From there they will support system integration efforts such as pre-test setup, checkout, post-test teardown, and system modifications. Responsibilities also include supporting the planning, execution, and documentation of tests; fabricating wiring, components, test fixtures, and test systems; conducting routine tests; analyzing and documenting results; and troubleshooting basic laboratory and test-related issues while working under general supervision, before transitioning completed installations to test execution teams.

Required Skills & Experience
1+ years' experience with Electrical fabrication/ Instrumentation
Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagram
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Excellent written and verbal communication
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Avionics or aerospace background
Active clearance
Strain gage installation experience (foil strain gages, including small-format sensors)
