$76 - $95 (hourly estimate)

Job Description

Design, build, and maintain data transformations within Salesforce Data Cloud, joining and shaping data from multiple source systems
Develop and manage Calculated Insights to aggregate, summarize, and derive metrics for analytics use cases
Work with large-scale datasets (20M+ rows) to calculate metrics such as fill rates, completeness, and usage analytics
Ensure performant and scalable data pipelines that support downstream analytics and reporting

Data Modeling & Customer 360

Design and implement data models within Salesforce Data Cloud, with a strong focus on Customer 360 architecture
Map, unify, and normalize datasets to support a Unified Individual view
Apply Salesforce Data Cloud concepts related to identity resolution and data unification
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into clean, scalable data models

Analytics Enablement

Activate Calculated Insights into Tableau or other analytics layers
Deliver analytics-ready datasets that support reporting and advanced analysis
Collaborate with analytics and business teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud
Strong background as a Data Engineer, with a focus on data modeling and data transformations
Proven experience building data transformations, data models, and Calculated Insights
Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries and aggregations
Experience working with large datasets (tens of millions of rows)
Solid understanding of data engineering and data analysis principles
Experience mapping and unifying datasets across multiple systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Python experience for data engineering or automation
Experience with CRMA / Einstein Analytics
Exposure to CDP concepts (may appear as “CDP” on resumes)
Tableau experience (not required)
Experience working with Salesforce ecosystem data
