Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their horticultural client’s Accounting Department. This person will be responsible for supporting daily accounting and financial operations by assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing, accurate data entry, and tracking payments. This person is responsible for preparing and processing vendor payments, expense reports, and employee reimbursements, as well as applying customer payments and following up on outstanding receivables when necessary. They will assist with reconciliations and reporting by performing bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations and supporting month end and year end close processes. They will ensure the accuracy of financial data within the accounting system by maintaining organized records in compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
SAP experience
