Insight Global is seeking a Databricks / AI Platform Engineer to support a highly visible enterprise platform initiative. This individual will focus on building and operationalizing AI agents while enabling automation, cost efficiency, and performance optimization across a Databricks-based ecosystem. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to the platform layer—diving into Databricks, collaborating with data engineering teams, and partnering directly with stakeholders—without owning full pipeline builds. The right candidate is highly efficiency-driven, technically curious, and comfortable operating at the intersection of AI, cloud, and data platforms. This role is 4x onsite in St. Louis, MO.

Required Skills & Experience
• Strong Databricks experience (hands-on troubleshooting, cost optimization, performance tuning, platform usage/ calling APIs)
• Python and PySpark expertise
• AI / Agentic AI development experience, including:
o Building at least one AI agent end-to-end
o Calling and orchestrating LLMs
o Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LangFuse, or similar AI orchestration/observability tools
• Azure cloud experience, specifically:
o Storage Accounts
o Key Vault
o Core Azure services used with Databricks
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Terraform (infrastructure as code)
• Kafka (streaming / event-driven architectures)
• Kubernetes
