Job Description

The HRIS Systems Consultant will serve as the primary point of escalation for complex Workday support tickets, managing case load distribution and identifying patterns to improve efficiency. This role involves directly interfacing with stakeholders to build robust processes, set clear expectations, and establish SLAs and guidelines for issue resolution. In addition to providing operational and Tier 2 support, the consultant will drive process improvements and automation opportunities within Workday, ensuring proactive communication and governance. They will also mentor junior analysts while maintaining data integrity, compliance, and overall operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

 7+ years of hands-on Workday experience – this is a consultant level role who will drive best in class practices for Workday Data Operations.
• Note: This is not a technical configuration role rather an operations/support role who will have breadth of exposure to Workday’s HCM modules.
 2-3 years of a team lead experience directly leading Workday Support teams
 Advanced Workday HCM Security knowledge
Strong understanding of HR data governance, compliance, and privacy standards.
• Experience in other HRIS systems, Oracle JD Edwards, UKG, People Experience tools and workflow
ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
• Understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment and HR policies.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working in a large company spread across multiple geographies.
• Workday Pro Certification.
• Experience with business process automation in Workday.
• Experience with Workday HCM configuration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field.
