Job Description

An Insight Global client is seeking 2 NOC Technicians to join their team in the St. Louis, MO area. This person will be responsible for responding and resolving alerts for the company's core infrastructure, core monitoring system is PRTG and alerts would be regular capacity alerts like CPU, available memory, drive space, network bandwidth, and service status monitoring. Main responsibilities for these alerts include resolving drive space alerts through adding capacity or running tools like WinDirStat to see what might be consuming the space, troubleshooting CPU and memory alerts, or other server issues that could impacting core systems. Ability to follow runbooks that will be provided to assist with the troubleshooting of systems and escalate any alerts or issues to other team members when needed. This person will respond to alerts for core applications at MOHELA such as public websites, internal websites and internal applications. Critical alerts will be sent out via Pingdom or PagerDuty. Triage of these alerts and following steps through runbooks to resolve and if unable to resolve escalating the alerts to other teams or team members with information on the troubleshooting that was performed. This individual will be working on ServiceNow for ticketing needs as well. This is 2 days onsite 3 remote in Chesterfield, MO.

Required Skills & Experience

- 1+ years of NOC experience
- Experience supporting a windows environment
- Background as a Help Desk Analyst or Windows Admin
- Experience and ability to work independently
- Comfortable working first or second shift (including Saturdays)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- VMware HorizonView experience
- Experience with TIDAL
