Job Description
•NetScout Platform (50–75% of time):
•Administer and manage the NetScout environment
•Train others on how to use the platform strategically
•Maximize the value of this high-investment tool
•General Network Troubleshooting (25%):
•Break/fix support and complex problem-solving across the network
•Use tools like NetScout and packet traces to diagnose issues
•Reverse engineer network data to assess performance
Other Duties:
• Support DNS and IBM solutions
• Participate in load balancing and switching/routing tasks
• Engage in potential lunch-and-learn sessions on NetScout

Required Skills & Experience
• Deep expertise in switching, routing, and load balancing
• Ability to read and analyze packet traces
• Strong troubleshooting skills using tools like NetScout
• Ownership mindset – someone who can take initiative and run with tasks
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
•Experience with Linux OS (helps with NetScout)
•Scripting/automation skills (Python preferred, but open to others)
•Professional sense of ownership and accountability
•Familiarity with AI tools (though currently limited in effectiveness in this environment)
