Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an IT Support Specialist in the Kansas City, MO area. This role is the forward-facing IT support for healthcare providers, including onboarding, credentialing, and application access. The specialist will join a team of five and work closely with the medical staff and informatics offices, triaging tickets and provider calls, and resolving issues such as EMR access and e-prescribe setup. Responsibilities include supporting providers, residents, and handling backlog tasks, educating users on Patient Keeper workflows and access, and visiting provider lounges and units to offer assistance. This candidate will start ASAP.

Required Skills & Experience

1-2 years' experience using Meditech 5.6
1-2 years' experience using Patient Keeper
Healthcare background (e.g. medical assistant, hospital transporter, secretary)
1-2 years' experience installing and setting up mobile device applications including EMR for providers both on Apple and Android
Strong customer service skills - a go-getter mentality who is consistent and persistent
Reliable transportation (mileage will be reimbursed)
Able to pass a drug test including medical marijuana

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree
1-2 years' experience using ServiceNow for desktop support
1-2 years' experience working directly with Providers
