A client of Insight Global is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our Controlled Environment team. In this role, you will work hands-on in greenhouse environments, supporting critical agricultural research and development. Your daily responsibilities will include harvesting corn plants, picking cotton bolls, operating seed processing equipment, and performing repetitive tasks with precision and consistency. Youll collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth operations and accurate data collection, contributing to the success of our crop science initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be someone with a strong agricultural background who are comfortable working in hot, physically demanding environments. Ideal applicants are self-starters with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in fieldwork is highly valued, and a bachelors or associate degree in agriculture, plant science, or a related field is preferred.
