An aerospace client of Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team in St. Louis, MO. Working within the simulations/testing labs, this Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the hardware and software design for avionics boxes including the boards, wiring, etc. In addition to creating electrical schematics through CAD software, this individual must use their knowledge of communication standards (RS422/RS232, PC104, TCP/IP & Ethernet, IEEE-488, MMSI, and MIL-STD-1553) and military standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1472) to execute hardware design and testing. This individual is required to work onsite 5 days/week (Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm).
3+ years of experience developing electronic system designs within an aerospace, defense, or weapons space

Bachelors Degree in Engineering(Electrical, IT, Aerospace, or Hardware preferred)
Experience developing electronic system designs within an aerospace, defense, or weapons space
Prior experience utilizing CAD to design boards, wiring, etc. within an avionics environment
Knowledge of RS422/RS232, PC104, TCP/IP & Ethernet, IEEE-488, MMSI, and MIL-STD-1553
Knowledge of military standards including MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1472
Ability to obtain a clearance
